FREESTYLE

Olympic Freestyle wrestling maybe one of the most exciting combative
styles in the world.  Not only do wrestlers have to have superior
positioning and technique, they required an incredible ability to focus in a
short period of time and must include a strategic approach to the match.

Matches are best of three (2 minute) periods with various ways to score
including a 1 point push out, 1 point takedowns, 2 point back exposure
from knees, 3 point back exposure from feet, and 5 point back exposure
with feet over head. 6 point superiority ends period, pin ends match.

At our club, our coaches have extensive freestyle experience to help
prepare wrestlers year round for the High School Freestyle Nationals and
Schoolboy Freestyle National Duals (two ages groups below HS).
