GRECO-ROMAN

Out of the three styles, Olympic Greco-Roman is the most challenging
because of the rule of only upper-body attacks and no leg attacks.  
Positioning is important or you will be thrown!

Matches are best of three (2 minute) periods, with the periods being 90
seconds neutral and 30 seconds par terre.  Various ways to score include
a 1 point push out, 1 point takedowns, 2 point back exposure from knees,
3 point back exposure from feet, and 5 point back exposure with feet over
head. 6 point superiority automatically ends period, pin ends match.

At our club, our coaches have extensive Greco-Roman experience to help
prepare wrestlers year round for the High School Greco-Roman Nationals
and Schoolboy Greco-Roman National Duals (two age groups below HS).
